Description

The Trollope Tomb, located approximately 3 metres to the north-west of the Church of St. Mary in Bucklebury, is a chest tomb dating from 1757. It is constructed of ashlar and features a moulded base and top, along with shaped corner balusters. The tomb is inscribed with the words: "Here lieth in dust all that is mortal of Anne, the wife of the Revd. John Trollope."
