Description

The Roade tomb, located 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. Andrew, is a chest tomb dating from 1807. It is made of stone and features a moulded base, fluted pilasters at each corner, and a moulded edge along the flat top. One of the side panels includes an oval and an inscription dedicated to Ambrose Roade.
