Description

Tonayne House is a late 18th-century house with a contemporary coach house attached to the north. It is constructed of grey brick, with all the bricks laid with the headers facing outward. The roof is slate, with hipped twin parallel ranges and stacks positioned centrally on each section. A stone cornice and parapet top the building. The house has two storeys and five bays, featuring glazing bar sashes with blind hoods. Two later ground floor bay windows have been added. The central bay is recessed, containing a panelled door and a rectangular fanlight above. A Doric porch with attenuated columns provides shelter. A contemporary coach house stands to the right, connected to the main house by a later addition.
