WOOLHAMPTON UPPER WOOLHAMPTON SU 56 NE 3/13 Block Approximately 15 Metres To North Of Gatehouse At Douai School

Schoolbuilding. 1893-5 by F. A. Walters in a Free Tudor Gothic Style. Red brick with stone dressings, plinth and cill string courses. Tiled roof with 7 gabled casement dormers, shaped gable ends, end stacks, and 3 cut down stacks corbelled from first floor between first and second, fourth and fifth, and sixth and seventh bays. 2 storeys and attic. West front: 7 bays, 2-light leaded first floor windows, ground floor cross windows with arched lights and returned hoodmoulds. Originally built for St. Mary's College.
