Description

Two cottages, dating from the 17th century, with a beam dated 1684 visible externally. They are timber framed with brick infill, and have a hipped thatched roof, half-hipped on the left side. Four eyebrow dormers light the upper floor. The roof has three chimney stacks: one positioned off-centre to the left, another off-centre to the right, and a third at the right-end. The cottages have four framed bays and a 1 1/2 storey height, featuring tension braces. The front has four windows, all casements with shutters. There are two doorways, one between the first and second windows from the left, and another between the first and second windows from the right. Both doorways have 20th-century gabled porches.
