Nos 5 to 8 Winkle Street is a mid-19th century building range. It is two storeys high with attics, constructed from red brick and featuring stone long and short quoins along with window dressings. The roof is tiled, showcasing bands of plain and fishscale tiles, and includes ridge tiles and stone kneelers. The building has double pointed mullioned windows that are adorned with hood mouldings, as well as pointed arched doorcases.
