Description
Nos 13 to 18 Byram Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys high with a basement. The building features a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course, along with continuous sill bands and imposts. The rusticated quoins add to its architectural detail.
On the ground floor, the windows are round-arched, featuring rusticated voussoirs, jambs, and keystones. The southern four windows are Venetian, overarched, and supported by Tuscan piers and entablatures, while the northern six windows are single-light with hollow chamfers and elongated keystones. The upper floor windows have moulded voussoirs and keystones, with round arches on the first floor and segment heads on the second floor. Above each keystone, there are gadrooned brackets that support the eaves cornice. The southern part of the building has four paired window ranges, while the northern part has six ranges.
