Description

Tower House is a building mainly from the 19th century, likely incorporating parts of an earlier 18th-century structure. It stands three storeys high, constructed of stone rubble with a tiled roof. The window dressings are made of red brick, and there is a castellated parapet that is raised in the center, featuring a shield. The building has three sash windows with vertical glazing bars only. The ground floor projects and is also castellated, with an additional projecting porch. This building is believed to have been used as the town mortuary due to its proximity to the Gaol.
