Description
Bowling Green House, located on Orchard Place, is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed from stock brick. The roof is currently covered with green slating. At the center, there is a cupola supported by eight Tuscan columns, topped with a steep weathervane. The building features a paired bracket eaves cornice and five sash windows with intact glazing bars and cornices on the first floor. Additionally, the first floor includes a cast iron balcony. The end elevation displays a pediment with a blank oval and a two-light window on the two lower floors. The north elevation has doorcases featuring an open pediment and Tuscan half columns.
