Description

The Harbour Board Offices were built in 1925 by architect Edward Cooper Poole in the Edwardian Baroque style. The building has two storeys, with a ground floor made of stone and a first floor of red brick. At the top, there is a stone cupola topped with an iron weathervane, which features four clock faces supported by console brackets. The design includes a cornice and a central pediment that projects forward, supported by six columns. A balustrade adorns the first floor, which also has four sash windows and a doorcase with Gibbs surrounds.
