Description

No. 2 New Road is likely a mid to late 19th century corner building designed in a Regency pastiche style. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of brick with a hipped slate roof. The building features a bracket eaves cornice made of yellow brick. There are two sashes with intact glazing bars, and the ground and first floor windows are set in semi-circular bows. The elevation facing Palmerston Road has two full-height semi-circular bows, with one window on each floor.
