Description

Nos 1 and 2 Canute Road is a corner building dating from around 1830, featuring four storeys. It is constructed of yellow brick with cemented dressings. The building has a moulded parapet and a heavy cornice above the second floor, with a total of four windows. The sashes retain their glazing bars. The curved corner includes a triple window on the first floor, topped with a pediment. The ground floor is rusticated and has round-headed windows, along with a round-headed doorcase for No 2. Pilasters flank the windows on the first, second, and third floors.
