Description

The Wilts and Dorset Bank, built around 1835, is a single-storey building with a stucco exterior. Its roof is hidden behind a parapet that features a raised central panel and balustrading on the sides. The building has a modillion cornice and rusticated end quoins. There are two sash windows without glazing bars, each with moulded architraves and keystones, which are flanked by four engaged Roman Ionic columns. The central doorcase also has a moulded architrave and keystone, and it features a six-panelled door with a pediment above. Access to the entrance is via two steps leading to the street.
