Description

This is a mid-19th century former Mercantile Marine Office, originally the Offices of the Department of Trade and Industry and the Mercantile Marine. The building is constructed of stock brick with a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys and features six sash windows with intact glazing bars. Rusticated end quoins and a brick eaves cornice are visible. A doorcase on the left features a rusticated quoined surround. A lower, single-bay addition exists to the left.
