Description

The Church of the Holy Saviour is a Neo-Decorated style church built in 1852 by G. Guillaume, with a south aisle added in 1885. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a slate roof. There is no internal division between the nave and chancel, and the church includes north and south aisles, as well as north flanking towers and a spire. A notable feature is the north window of the chancel, which contains a stained glass light by Morris and Company from 1896, depicting Christ as Salvator Mundi. The church spire serves as a local landmark.
