Description

This is a terrace of nine houses, numbered 87 to 95 Bernard Street, built around 1840. The houses are three storeys high, with basements and attics. They are constructed of stucco, with a slate roof and feature four dormers, each with a pediment. A moulded string course runs along the facade. The windows are sash windows with intact glazing bars, and have pediments and brackets above the first-floor windows. The doorcases are rusticated, with cornices above the doorways. Steps lead up to the street level. The front of the terrace is protected by cast iron spear railings.
