Description

No. 2 and No. 4 Church Street is an 18th-century building that has been altered and refronted. It stands 2 and a half storeys tall and features a 19th-century tiled roof with three gabled dormers, two of which have bracketed gable ends. The shop front, added in the 20th century, is made of stucco and has two outer first-floor glazing bar sash windows. The parapet has a slight break in the center for a shaped panel, and there is a large fascia board for the shop. The interior has been completely opened out for use as a supermarket. This building is included for its group value.
