Description
Nos. 6 and 8 Church Street are a pair of altered 17th-century cottages. They are colourwashed brick and plaster with a small, low two-storey link block to No. 4, featuring a two-light mullion window on the first floor. The roof is tiled with a catslide to the rear. The front has three windows on the first floor, with the outer two being three-light and the centre two-light. Below, there are three similar windows on the ground floor, two of which are blocked, and one which has shutters. There are two front doors. Ground floor openings have segmental heads. A string course runs at first-floor level, and there is a corbelled brick eaves cornice. Original window frames remain on the first floor.
