Description
10 Church Street is a mid to late 17th century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high and features a timber frame with plaster infill, consisting of one bay facing the road and three bays to the east. The building has a hipped corner with an old tiled roof and three chimneys. On the street side, there are 19th century three-light casement windows, while the east side has two-light casements on the first floor and modern windows on the ground floor. The entrance door is located off-centre to the left, and there is a small single-storey wing to the right. Inside, there are remains of a bread oven to the right of the ground floor parlour fireplace. The roof was formerly thatched, and there is a catslide roof to the rear.
