Description
Banksfoot is an early to mid-18th century building located on Church Road, Caversham. It is two storeys high, with the right-hand section slightly taller and incorporating an attic. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick, with an old tile roof. The front facing the road has two casement windows and two 4-pane sash windows on the first floor. The left-hand part of the building features a centrally located half-glazed door with a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood above. A tall chimney is situated to the right, and a modern garage extension is present, incorporating re-used beams. Internally, there is an inglenook fireplace in a ground floor room to the right. A flint garden wall runs along the street frontage.
