Description

This is a formal terrace of small red-brick houses located on Baker Street, numbered 61 to 79 (odd). The buildings were constructed before 1840, as evidenced by an Edward Weller map of that year. They are set back from the road and are two storeys high with a basement. A stucco string course runs beneath the first-floor windows. The roof is slate, with hipped ends and brick ridge chimneys. Each house has two windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor, featuring glazing bar sash windows (with plate glass in No. 61). The ground floor features a four-panel door with a radiating fanlight. A single window and door are present on the basement level.
