Description
The Andrews and Barrett Family Monuments are located on the south side of London Road. These monuments consist of family vaults dedicated to James Andrewes, who died in 1841, on the east side, and George Barrett, who died in 1858, on the west side. Both men were prominent ironmasters associated with the local works. The monuments feature cast iron urns with flame-capped lids, which stand on large cylindrical drums that flank the portico of the Non-Conformist Chapel.
