Description
St Bartholomew's Church Hall, built around 1880 and possibly designed by Alfred Waterhouse, is located on the south side of London Road. The building is constructed of red brick with grey brick dressings, featuring bands and decorative elements in the gables. It has tiled roofs and an ashlar coping with kneelers on the left-hand gable. The hall has three gables, with the center gable recessed and each gable containing three lancet windows. Flanking the left-hand gable are low, fabled wings, and there is a dormered chimney with tumbled brick on the left-hand gable.
