Description

Woodlands Cottage is a 17th-century building that has been altered, with part of the front rebuilt using "thermalite" (concrete) and grooved cement to imitate timber framing. Some original timber elements are still visible in the rendering. The cottage has one and a half storeys and features a half-hipped tiled roof with two ridge chimneys. There are three modern gabled dormers and four irregularly placed windows on the ground floor, which are modern casements. The central entrance has a modern door flanked by side-lights. To the left, there is a single-storey extension, and at the rear, there is an extremely low catslide roof. Timber framing can be seen in the gable end.
