Description

Nos 16 to 22 on London Road, also known as Portland Place, date from around 1840. This is a three-storey and basement stucco terrace featuring a first-floor cill band, cornice, and blocking course. The slate roof is topped with ridge chimneys. Each house has two ranges of glazing bar sash windows, with incised architraves on the ground and first floors, and round-headed windows on the ground floor. The doorways are also round-headed, leading to six-panel doors with plain frames.
