Description

This is a terrace of three early 19th-century houses located on Landport Terrace, Southsea, Portsmouth. The buildings are stuccoed and have Welsh slate roofs. They are arranged over three storeys and a basement.

Number 10 features a tripartite canted bay to the left, with a central sash window flanked by narrower sashes. Pilasters divide the window lights, and there is a frieze and cornice with a panelled apron below. Number 11 has a five-step approach to a six-fielded panel door with a fanlight, panelled reveals, flanking pilasters, a broken entablature and a moulded pediment. To the right of the door is a paired sash window with an architrave and sill band. Number 12 is similar, with a five-step approach to a matching door, panelled reveals, a broken entablature and a pediment. It also has a paired sash window with an architrave and sill band. The upper floors of numbers 10 and 11 feature four-pane sash windows with architraves and sill bands. A brick dentil course runs along the top of the building, and there is a coped parapet. The interior of the buildings has not been inspected. Numbers 10 and 11 are now used as offices, combining into a single premise.
