Description

The iron railings to the former Clarence Barracks, dating from around 1880, are made of wrought iron. They feature square balusters with shaped tops, which are set in a granite base. The upper flat horizontal rail has spiked heads positioned on top of each upright. The gate piers have been restored. These railings enclose the front area of what was once the officers' accommodation, which is now the City Museum.
