Description
Coopers House is a house located on St Thomas's Street in Portsmouth, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some alterations. The exterior is finished in stucco and features a plain tile hipped roof with a central brick stack. The building has three storeys and consists of one wide bay. A 20th-century door is situated on the right, topped with a bracketed pediment-style hood. To the left, there is a 12-pane sash window. A plat band runs along the façade. On the first floor, there is a mid-19th century tripartite canted oriel window, which includes a central 12-pane sash flanked by two 6-pane sashes, with plain pilaster strips dividing the lights and a frieze and cornice above. The second floor features 12-pane sash windows. The building is topped with a coped parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
