Description

Benedict House is a mid-18th century house, altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted stucco with a plain tile roof and a brick stack at the centre. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with one bay. The front door is on the right side and features six panels within a panelled reveal, surmounted by a fluted architrave and a semicircular panel decorated with a shell pattern. There are three stone steps leading up to the door. To the left of the door and on the first floor is a sash window with sixteen panes. A coped parapet tops the building, and 20th-century flat dormer windows have been added to the attic. The interior has not been inspected.
