The Pump House is an early 19th century small single-storey building made of buff brick, featuring an angled north-west corner. It has a low hipped slate roof with flat eaves. The façade includes one glazing bar sash window and two plain doors. Originally, this building served as a toll house. It is part of a group that includes the Red Lion Public House, Lock View, Pine View, and Canalside Cottage.
