Description

Warren Farm Cottage is a mid-18th century stone-built house located on Stratford Road in Old Wolverton. The cottage has two storeys on the south-west side and three storeys with an attic on the north-east side, topped with a steep old tile roof and featuring two brick chimneys. The south-west front displays two widely spaced three-light casement windows with glazing bars. There is a closed gabled porch made of stone with a tile roof, which includes a blind window recess in the gable. The north-west front has a lower half-basement and is constructed of coursed dressed rubble. It features four windows with keys on each floor, although one window on the ground floor is blocked, and these are glazing bar sashes. Additionally, there is one hipped dormer.
