Description
Lavendon Castle Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a slate roof with chimneys on either side and one to the right of the center. The building has two storeys and an attic, with the southeast front displaying five bays of sash windows that have a 19th-century glazing pattern. There is a central door set within a modern porch, and a small circular window located on the first floor to the right of the center. To the right, there is a two-storey wing topped with a tower roof, which has one bay and a hipped roof bay window on the left-hand gable wall. The farmhouse and its barns are situated within extensive earthworks of a castle, which is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
