Description
The Green Man Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It features a colourwashed roughcast exterior on stone and a thatched roof that is hipped at the eastern end. The west gable has stone coping and a shaped kneeler. The building is two storeys high, with the south front consisting of three bays. The first floor has three three-light wood casements, while the left-hand side of the ground floor has a sash window, and the right-hand side has a modern casement and a glazed porch. There is a lower extension on the left side with a hipped thatched roof and a door that has a lintel inscribed "IF WR 1678." Attached at right angles on the east side is a stone stable wing that has been altered and extended eastwards, featuring a tiled roof with a stone-coped gable and a brick chimney.
