Description
Harriet's End is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with a 19th-century addition on the west side. The building features coursed rubblestone on the main structure, with the left bay constructed of brick. It has a thatched roof, while the right-hand addition has an old tiled roof. The cottage consists of two main bays, with a former stable and hayloft addition on the left and a one-bay addition on the right.
The south front has a central door flanked by two three-light casement windows, with the upper window cutting into the thatch. The stable windows on the left have been altered to casements. The ground floor has a four-light window, while the first floor has three-light windows. The gable elevation features a blind window recess on the first floor, a four-light casement on the ground floor, and a boarded door. The gable is half-hipped, and the right addition includes a small casement window. Stacks are positioned on either side of the two main bays and at the east gable. Inside, the cottage has chamfered and stopped spine beams.
