Description
No. 12 Mansion Row is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a party wall stack and a tiled mansard roof. The building has a double-depth plan and features two storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a two-window range on the front. The parapeted front includes a brick cornice. On the left side, there is a doorway with an architrave and a bracketed pediment, panelled reveals, and a soffit. The entrance has a six-panel door with the middle panels raised and the top pair glazed. The windows are horned 2/2-pane sashes set in flush frames, topped with rubbed brick flat arches, and there is a wide three-light raking dormer. A pavement grill provides access to the basement. The interior has not been inspected.
