Description

The Manor House is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, which was refronted in 1753. It features a maroon brick front with a parapet above a plain tiled roof. The building has a double depth plan, with a central three-storey block flanked by recessed two-storey wings. The front has four window openings, which contain glazing bar sashes. A central 20th-century porch conceals a semi-circular headed doorway with a fanlight. The front block was newly built in 1753, according to information from A. Baker.
