Description

This listing describes a group of 12 headstones located south of the south aisle of All Saints Church in Strood. The headstones include those arranged in a line parallel to the headstone dated 1681, as well as those in a line parallel to the headstone for Henry Simple, dated 1755. The headstones date from the 17th and 18th centuries, with most featuring inscriptions that are now difficult to read. The headstones are simple in design, with shaped heads.
