Description
Cypress House is a house dating from the 17th century, which was refaced in the mid-18th century. It features a painted brick front that is partly banded in blue and red, with red brick on the sides. The building has a cornice and a coped brick parapet above a plain tiled hipped roof, which includes ridge stacks at the rear and two hipped dormers. The house is two storeys high with attics and has a regular front with five window openings, all fitted with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set in an arched surround, complete with an overlight, reveals, and a deep open pediment that is adorned with a full Tuscan order.
