Description
This is a house located at 84 Frindsbury Road, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The building has a double-depth plan with an entrance hall on the right and stands three storeys tall.
The front of the house has a four-window range and is topped with a parapet that has stone coping and a cornice band. The windows are set under flat rubbed-brick arches. On the second floor, there is a blocked window to the left, two 6-pane horned sashes in reveals in the centre, and a late 20th-century two-light casement window to the right, with the outer window openings being smaller.
On the first floor, the first and third windows are blocked, while the remaining windows feature 12-pane hornless sashes in reveals. The ground floor has a blocked window on the left, with the centre windows also having 12-pane hornless sashes in reveals. The doorway is topped with an oversized canopy supported by shaped brackets, and it features a 20th-century door beneath a rectangular overlight.
