Description
Pope Farm is a house dating from the late 17th century, largely rebuilt in the 18th century, and altered in the early 20th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with glazed headers, with tile-hung gables, a brick ridge stack, and a half-hipped tiled roof. The house has a 2-room lobby entry plan with a rear outshut.
The exterior is of two storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a 3-window front. It is double-fronted, featuring segmental-arched relieving arches over the ground floor windows and a plinth with steps leading up to a 6-panel front door. The windows are 3-light casements, with smaller basement windows and a small central first-floor window. There are also small 2-light casements in the attic gables. The rear of the building includes a 20th-century catslide roof and a hipped gable to an extension. The interior was not inspected.
