Description

Lodge Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from coursed stone rubble with red brick dressings, featuring a front made of red brick in English bond. It has a tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks and stands two storeys high with attics. The front elevation includes five windows, which are 12-pane sashes set in moulded wooden architraves. There is a central doorcase with a six-panelled door, where the two upper panels are glazed, and it is topped by a flat wooden weatherhood supported by brackets. The rear elevation has casement windows. Inside, the farmhouse boasts a Chinese Chippendale staircase.
