Description
No 9 Barrington Row is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings and features a gabled tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and two windows, which are 6-pane sashes with horns. The central entrance has a doorcase topped with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, and the door itself is a 6 flush panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. To the right of the main cottage is an 18th-century wing, which may have originally been an outbuilding. This wing has a pantiled roof, one casement window, and a simple door. The cottage is included for its group value.
