Description

Holly Cottage is a cottage built around 1830 in the cottage orne style. The front is made of yellow brick, which is now painted, and the rear features stone rubble with brick dressings. It has a hipped thatched roof and a central yellow brick chimneystack. The cottage is one storey with attics and has two windows, along with two eyebrow dormers. Throughout, there are pointed arched casements. A central thatched porch is supported by two octagonal wooden piers, and there is a six flush panelled door in a wooden surround. The side elevation has a brick plinth, and there is an outshut at the rear made of stone rubble with a slate roof and casement windows.
