Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1872, designed in an early 19th century style while reusing earlier materials. It is constructed from greensand stone rubble with yellow brick dressings. The building features a hipped roof covered with old tiles, and there are two end chimneystacks made of cement with terracotta chimneypots. The farmhouse has two storeys and four windows. The eaves cornice is adorned with cast iron guttering that has lion's head masks. The windows are cambered 12-pane sashes. A central round-headed porch includes a stone keystone and impost blocks, leading to a four-panelled door. On the left side elevation, there are three casement windows with red brick dressings in the lower elevation of the L-shaped wing.
