Description
Nos 110 to 112 on St James's Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand three stories tall. They are constructed with purple grey headers and feature red brick dressings. The roofs have a low pitch and are covered with slate, with projecting eaves. Each house has two recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars, and No 111 has block sills on the second floor. The first floors feature three-light bay windows.
No 110 is adorned with Doric pilasters, while No 112 has panelled details. No 111 has plain strips. All three houses have a frieze and a wide cornice, with leaded roofs on Nos 110 and 112. Although the shop fronts are modern, No 110 retains its panelled Doric pilasters and ornamented consoles with caps. No 112 has two recessed doors with four fielded panels and square fanlights, flanked by Doric pilasters.
These buildings form a cohesive group.
