Description

4 and 6 Sun Hill is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of Sun Hill in West Cowes. The building is constructed of grey headers with red brick window dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse, topped with a hipped tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with attics, featuring two windows and two window spaces, although the glazing bars are missing. The house has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a plinth. The doorcases have moulded architrave surrounds, with only number 6 retaining its projecting cornice. The doors are six-panelled, with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
