Description

The Newport Quay Hotel is a two-storey house built in the 18th century, featuring purple and red brick that has been painted white. The building has four windows and two dormers, with no glazing bars. It includes a plinth, a moulded wooden eaves cornice, and an old tiled roof. A notable feature is the late 18th-century moulded wooden doorcase, which has engaged fluted columns, a triglyph frieze, and a pediment. The hotel is part of a group with Nos 35 to 39 and 41.
