Description

36 The Strand is a detached villa built around 1840 to 1850. It is similar in style to No 31 and features two storeys and a basement, but has only three windows, with two of them in a bow shape extending through both storeys on the west side. The villa has a porch that resembles the one at No 31, which includes a modern door. The entrance is flanked by turned balusters and capped piers leading up to the steps. Nos 31 to 38 form a group of buildings.
