Description
Cheverton Farmhouse is a cottage that dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick on a stone plinth, featuring a stone end wall with brick patching. It has a half-hipped thatched roof and is one storey high with attics, along with an outshut at the rear. The front has a casement window from the 19th century, while the remaining windows are 20th-century casements located on the side wall. The upper storey windows are fitted with eyebrow dormers. The thatch extends down over the central door, creating a porch, and there is a central chimney.
