Description
Grigshole is a cottage dating from around 1690, constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a slate roof and end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and two windows, including two three-light mullioned windows. A dripstone connects the ground floor windows, which include one four-light and one three-light original stone mullioned window, along with a two-centred arched door that has blank spandrels in the centre. The entrance is a four-plank door, and there is a catslide roof at the rear. The dripstone is similar to that found at Knighton Farm Cottage.
